The Snug
The SNUG is a 6×6 m popup real-world ‘chat room’ exploring the place and places of conversation in contemporary Ireland. Led by international arts collective Unqualified Design Studio (Architecture Project Award 2023/24), the project invites communities to come together to examine the relationship between the stories we tell and the spaces where we tell them – asking what it is that makes us feel connected to each other and the world around us.
1 pm – 2 pm BIG FISH, SMALL POND
Civil rights activist and curator of the Irish Queer Archive, Tonie Walsh and artist Tom Campbell discuss creative expression in rural towns with guests.
Hosted by Unqualified Design Studio.
3pm Session (local performers/comhaltas)
Join us Saturday 5th to Wednesday 9th for animated chat, captivating stories and an energetic seisiún or two.
