Clonmel Junction Arts Festival was founded in 2001 to celebrate touring theatre and live music. The annual multi-disciplinary arts festival celebrates Clonmel and its talented artists, bringing people together through live performance, including music, theatre, dance, literature, and more. In 2024, the theme is Legacy X Next, focusing on our rich history of artists living and working in the town, and looking forward to the next generation of legacy-makers!
We work with our artists and our partners to provide opportunities for Clonmel audiences to experience the best of the arts during our 10-day summer festival. The festival is curated by invitation in order to support our policy of providing a platform for regional and national artists, supporting arts professionals in the town of Clonmel, and offering a space for artists to share ideas around the festival theme.
There are annual open calls issued in a number of disciplines. We proudly champion Tipperary artists, and welcome anyone with a professional arts practice to discuss their career and artform development. With a small administrative team, we do not accept unsolicited applications outside our open call process.
