Eimear King was an artist/photographer, and the administrator
at South Tipperary Arts Centre until her passing in April 2024.
She was a keen observer of nature, in both urban and rural
settings. Living in a rural Irish town meant that these worlds
intersected in a myriad of ways, with the wildness never far
away. Being very much influenced and inspired by the natural
world, and the elements, she was enchanted with the ancient,
and the unseen, and the spirit of place, and endeavoured to
capture this in her images. Curated by Helena Tobin.
