In “For the Love of Milseáin” audiences can expect a wholly unique experience as Áine Gallagher, “the queen of offbeat”, uses her “divinely awkward” style of comedy to create a fun, novel and exciting approach to speaking and learning Irish. Áine’s charm is born from the fact that her Irish is not perfect. It has taken her years, along with countless embarrassing situations to become a confident speaker. Throughout the show, Áine masterfully weaves bilingual storytelling with her quirky, deadpan humour to navigate mistake making, mug cake baking and her obsession with Lionel Richie to inspire a nation to let go of their fears and speak Irish in, “For the Love of Milseáin”.
