Tom Campbell’s 100 Dogs Project Walk
Meeting at the Box Office at Showgrounds Shopping Centre and walking to Kickham Plaza
The 100 Dogs Project, a community engagement project with artist Tom Campbell, has been going down a storm with Clonmel schools and community groups in the build-up to the festival.
Cork-based multidisciplinary visual artist, Tom Campbell, brought his love for papier-mâché as a fast and environmentally sustainable way of making sculpture to Clonmel for a six-week residency in the run up to the festival, working with: St Mary’s Parochial School, Sisters of Charity Special School, Sisters of Charity N.S., Ardfinnan N.S., St Oliver’s School, Tidy Towns, Family Carers Clonmel, Clonmel Community Youth Project, The Rehab Group, Ancaire Autism Outreach Service, National Learning Network, and The Involvement Centre Clonmel.+
Meet us at 10.30 am at The Box Office to help walk the 100 life-sized papier-mâché dogs or join us on the Kickham Plaza at 11 am for the Family Fun Day – all four-legged friends welcome too.
Watch out for the 100 Dogs appearing at venues throughout the festival – who let the dogs out?
