A highlight of the festival was the showcase of TUS student animations at IMC on Monday 7th July, with students seeing their work on the big screen and taking part in a Q&A. TUS student work was also showcased in The Lab at the Showgrounds during the festival with the VR demonstrations proving very popular. THE ILLUMINATION is a show with a mixture of storytelling and theatrical re-enactment that delves into the lives of women of our distant past. Women of Chinese, Irish, African, Latin, Native American and Indian cultures are showcased. These women were the real heroines of their time. Using a storyteller and a diverse group of performers and music and pictures of each heroine, we bring these strong women stories to the world of today. The storyteller dressed in Mardi Gras outfit, introduces each woman’s story which is shared by a performer. Performers of diverse ethnicities present the six heroine stories. Bea Conner-Pohl
