Paul Howard and Alan Clarke

Paul Howard is a novelist, screenwriter, playwright and newspaper columnist. He is best known as the creator of the rugby jock Ross O’Carroll-Kelly, who was the subject of 24 novels and four sell-out plays.

He was also a writer on the BAFTA-award winning TV show Bad Sisters and the story editor on season two of the TV comedy SisterS. He has won five Irish Book Awards, including the best non-fiction award for his biography of Beatles muse Tara Browne. A Nation Once Again, his satire about the unification of Ireland, will be published by Penguin in August.

Paul will be joined by illustrator for the Ross O’CarrollKelly series, Alan Clarke.
